RED . DRUMS, TATOOS.

Red started off playing with Stevie Wright from the Easybeats which played the opening to every toilet seat through out Australia for about 2 years... He then freelanced playing on cruise ships reading charts in backing bands for artists too numerous to name. Next was a tour with Iva Davies from Icehouse. Then in 98 whilst getting a tattoo he was asked to join Australia’s biggest metal band at the time, Segression. He went on to record 'Smile' with them, released through Roadrunner Records which sold out in its first week of release (approx 3500 copies). It went on to be one of the biggest selling metal albums in Australia. Segression toured all over Australia with their own shows and supporting international acts such as... Strapping Young Lad, Slipknot, Fear Factory, Ozzy Osbourne, Soulfly, Pantera. The band relocated to the USA where they toured and recorded for quite a few months also playing shows with bands such as Hatebreed etc. Through this gig, Red received an endorsement from Tama drums which led to an appearance at the 2001 Ultimate Drummers weekend in Melbourne, playing beside drummers of the ilk of Virgil Donati, and Zorro just to name a few. He parted ways with Segression late 2001. After a little break his next thing was to break the Guinness world record for the longest drum marathon in which involved playing drums nonstop for 57 hours and 3 minutes smashing the old record of 42 hours held by some pommy dude. Since then he’s played again in originals bands touring Australia and doing many recording session work and now he’s found a home in GT...

Watch him when he drums he has a good time.

Red is still proudly endorsed by Tama.
